Through our partners, we offer our clients the availability of quality seeds for small producers, seeking to maximize the productivity of their crops and ensure the profitability of their farms.

An agricultural engineer with an MBA, he serves as General Manager of AGP Semillas. With a solid professional track record in the agricultural sector, he has led strategic initiatives for the production and marketing of high-quality seeds, positioning the company as a market leader.

Gonzalo García

PRESIDENT

An agricultural engineer and current General Manager of KWS Peru, he has a distinguished track record in the seed industry, leading key projects for the development and commercialization of innovative varieties. His experience in strategic management and sustainability has strengthened KWS Peru and the national seed sector.

Luis Burgos Chinchay

CEO

Biologist with a Master's degree in Integrated Pest Management and specialization in international negotiations, public administration, and ISO standards for quality and safety. He has 12 years of experience in foreign trade of agricultural products, regulations, and technical negotiations for market access. He is currently CEO of the Peruvian Seed Association (APES).

Julio Vivas Bancallan

SECRETARY

An agricultural engineer with a Master's degree in Agribusiness and Food Management, he has over 20 years of experience in phytosanitary products and seeds, and 25 years in food production. He has led strategic plans, commercial activities, and marketing at BASF Peruana S.A. and is currently the General Manager of Interoc S.A., legally representing both the company and Fernagro S.A.C.

2024 (May)

Consolidation as a Representative Guild

APES reaffirmed its leadership by consolidating its position as the representative association of the seed industry in the country, serving as a key bridge between producers, authorities, and stakeholders in the national and international agricultural system.

2024 (October)

Signing of an Agreement with MIDAGRI

In a historic step for the industry, APES signed an agreement with MIDAGRI to strengthen the institutional framework of the seed sector, promote the use of quality seeds, and foster innovation in agricultural production in Peru.

2025 (January)

Boosting Production and Exports

APES seeks to promote the production and export of off-season seeds, working together with its partners to exceed $100 million in FOB value, positioning Peru as a benchmark in the region.
